Masters Competitive or Triathlete Swimming Workout Group
All sessions in our outdoor, 25 yard, heated pool have a coach who guides the group and each swimmer through a training session which is geared to the individual swimmers’ level and current ability. Although sessions are geared to individual swimmers current abilities, this is not a learn-to-swim activity and new masters swimmers should be prepared and currently able to participate in at least 30 minutes of aerobic activity.
Each training session shall include a warm up, main set and appropriate warm down. Swimmers can expect a 1.5 hour training session to include anywhere from 1,000 to 6,000 yard per session, depending on individual swim speed and the day’s workout focus.
Sessions are held regardless of the weather unless thunder and lightning other severe weather is in the area, whereby the session will be delayed and/or cancelled at the discretion of the on-deck coach. No refunds are made for cancellations due to weather.
