About the Fiddlehead Five
The Fiddlehead Five is a series of six 5K runs over the summer season held at the Storrs Pond Recreational Area. They generally start the first Thursday after the 4th of July and each week through the second week of August. We run the 5K trail (known to locals as the Roller Coaster trail) around Storrs Pond. There are two additional runs (mid-season), a 5K road run and a short but intense hill climb. All runs start and end in the upper parking lot of Storrs Pond (bottom of Oak Hill).
These are fun runs, but we do take times and post results (not a requirement).
Sign-up starts at 5 PM and the runs starts at 5:30 PM. This is our fourth season and we have had well over 300 runners participate over the past seasons.

Check out the Upper Valley Trails Alliance Trail Finder for information and maps about 75 trails in and around the Upper Valley.
If you are using Internet Explorer to access Trail Finder, you may be finding load times rather slow or the program “hanging”. Consider giving Mozilla’s Firefox or Google’s Chrome browsers a try, they currently load the trail map much more efficiently, especially if you have high-speed Internet.
