Storrs Pond Recreation Area

Eastern Mountain Sports held a demo day at Storrs Pond.  About 80 people came down to try out new kayaks and paddleboards.  Tents were set up around the beach, and there were booths with other outdoor gear.

• May 23rd  – Area Open
• June 4th  – Pool Open (limited schedule)
• June 18 – Pool Open for season
• June 20 – Tennis Lessons begin
• June 25th – Fishing Derby
• July 4 – Swim Lessons begin
• July 6 – Open Water Swim starts
• July 7 – Fiddlehead 5 starts
• July 16 – All-Comers Swim Meet
• July 20 – Family Fun Night
• July 27 – Water Polo SPRA guards versus SPRA members
• August 6 – Wiffle Series
• August 14 – Battle of the Bands

Check out the Upper Valley Trails Alliance Trail Finder for information and maps about 75 trails in and around the Upper Valley.  You can check off the criteria that you are looking for, and then see a Google Map with pins on the different trails that match your search.

Right now, the system includes information on trails at Balch Hill and the Rinker Steele Natural Area, both of which are adjacent to the Storrs Pond Recreation Area.
