There are trails at Oak Hill right beside Storrs Pond. Go for a ride, then cool off at the beach.
Storrs Pond is stocked with trout, and good fishing can be had around the pond.
There are extensive hiking trails, connecting to Oak Hill and Balch Hill areas.

The Storrs Pond Recreation Area is operated by the Hanover Improvement Society, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Storrs Pond is located only minutes from the Town of Hanover, New Hampshire and Dartmouth College. The Area features scenic woodlands, a man-made 13-acre pond, and two sandy swimming beaches, a heated swimming pool, tennis courts, and covered pavilions areas. Storrs Pond Recreation Area is easily accessible from Interstate 89 and 91.
