Storrs Pond Recreation Area offers instructional swim lessons on a group or individual basis. Lessons are offered for children and adults of all ages and abilities. Instructors are certified Water Safety Instructors.
Group Swim Lessons 2025
- On-line group swim lesson registration will open on March 1, 2025 for Members and April 1, 2025 for Non-Members. If you are interested in private or semi-private lessons, please email Missie Rodriguez at swim@storrspond.org
- Sessions will run for two consecutive weeks with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 students per class. There will not be a waitlist. You must sign up for the 2 consecutive week sessions, can not mix weeks from different sessions.
- Classes run 5 days a week for 30 minutes per session (10 per session) except Parent & Child which is 4 days a week (8 per session). Classes are held rain or shine (even stormy weather – the teacher will hold a classroom lesson instead of in the pool).
- Cancellation Policy / Refunds will only be given if notification of cancellation is at least two weeks prior to the start of the session.
