Swimming
Storrs Pond Recreation Area offers a sandy beach with swimming in Storrs Pond. A roped-off area is supervised by lifeguards from 12 to 5 pm every day between late June and early September. The beach is open from sunrise to sunset, however we encourage swimming only when the life guard is on duty.
Beach toys are available to share on the sandy beach, and shady trees ring the grassy area if you want to get out of the sun. A beach volleyball court is beside the beach, along with a playground.
A heated swimming pool is also available with lifeguards, open from 11 am to 7 pm every day, from June 4 until early September. Come enjoy the only heated outdoor pool in the Upper Valley!
Swim lessons are available – details are provided below.
