Session I swim lessons start June 29.  Rain or shine lessons will take place.  All swimmers should report to the WSI hut on the pool deck.

Storrs Pond is now OPEN!  The beach and tennis courts opened on Saturday, May 23, 2009. The pool opened for regular summer hours of noon to 7 pm on Saturday, June 20.

About Storrs Pond

The Storrs Pond Recreation Area, operated by the Hanover Improvement Society, is located only minutes from the Town of Hanover, New Hampshire and Dartmouth College. The Area features scenic woodlands, a man-made 13-acre pond and two sandy swimming beaches, a heated swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball court and picnic areas. The Area is easily accessible from Interstate 89 and 91.

SPRA is open to pass-holders and the general public from mid-May through mid-September. We offer picnic facilities for both large and small groups, tent and RV camping for up to a one-week stay. We also offer swimming and tennis lessons.

Free public wi-fi internet is available around the pool area and tennis courts.
