Fiddlehead Five

The next Fiddlehead Five Trail Run will be on Thursday, August 5.  Registration opens at 5 pm. $5 for adults. Kids and students are free. More info

Beat the heat at Storrs Pond!

The pool is open from noon to 7 pm, and the pond and sandy beach are open all day.

Storrs Pond Swim Team accepting registrations

Come join the SPRA Competitive Development Swim Team.  The team will practice Monday, Wednesday and Friday (8 -9 am) from July 5 through August 13.  The cost to join the team is $210. Laurie Albert is the Head Coach.  More information

Tennis Courts and Campground Are Open

Come enjoy a game of tennis at the Storrs Pond Recreation Area.  The courts are open and available to the public.  The campground is open now, and you may make your summer camping reservations now.  Our picnic pavilions are open as well.  Call today to make your reservations.

About Storrs Pond

The Storrs Pond Recreation Area, operated by the Hanover Improvement Society, is located only minutes from the Town of Hanover, New Hampshire and Dartmouth College. The Area features scenic woodlands, a man-made 13-acre pond and two sandy swimming beaches, a heated swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball court and picnic areas. The Area is easily accessible from Interstate 89 and 91.

SPRA is open to pass-holders and the general public from mid-May through mid-September. We offer picnic facilities for both large and small groups, tent and RV camping for up to a one-week stay. We also offer swimming and tennis lessons.

Free public wi-fi internet is available around the pool area and tennis courts.
